On Referred Customers page, make the Referred By field editable so that customers failing to use a link can still get credit for their referrals.

We have suggested this option to manage from the referred contacts profile.

I have submitted this suggestion as an idea for our Contacts 3.0 releasing soon. Any thoughts on what you would like to occur after assigning the referred by would be wonderful. For those clients who just love to bring people in :)
